What Is 94X Coaching — And Is It Right for Your Business?

The term 94X (94xmovement.org) comes from an equation. The average American works 160 hours per month, while the average Christian attends church only 1.7 hours per month.

This means we have 94 times more impact on people's lives at work than at church.

As Kingdom-minded leaders, we have a responsibility — to make that time count.

94X Coaching was built to help Kingdom-minded leaders steward the souls in their business well.

What Is 94X Coaching?

94X is a business coaching methodology built on 12 Kingdom principles that integrate faith and leadership into the daily operations of a business. It is not a devotional program. It is not a corporate chapel service. It is a rigorous, results-oriented coaching system that happens to be built on a Biblical worldview.

The twelve 94X Movement Principles are:

1. AbidingAbiding in Christ is not passive but an intentional practice, maintaining a constant, intimate relationship with Jesus, rooted in His Word and dependent on His presence. It shapes every decision, interaction, and direction in their organization. Abiding in Christ is the foundation of a thriving Kingdom-minded business.
2. AuthenticityAuthenticity means living out your faith with integrity and transparency, aligning your actions with your beliefs and being the same person in public and private. Authentic leaders create safe, valued environments where people are inspired to do their best work.
3. CallingEvery person is created by God with a unique purpose and calling. In business, this means leaders and employees are placed in their roles for a divine reason. When leaders recognize and embrace their calling, their work becomes a powerful ministry.
4. CourageCourage is the willingness to act in faith despite uncertainty, opposition, or fear. For Kingdom-minded leaders, it is essential to follow God's direction and make decisions aligned with His values — even when they are countercultural.
5. GenerosityGenerosity in leaders reflects the generous character of God, the ultimate Giver. True generosity goes beyond finances to include time, resources, encouragement, and opportunities. This generous culture transforms the workplace, builds loyalty, and helps people feel genuinely valued and cared for.
6. LoveLove is the cornerstone of Kingdom-minded leadership. It should drive every decision, interaction, and relationship in a God-honoring business. In John 13:34-35 Jesus commands, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." When leaders lead with love, they create environments that reflect God's Kingdom here on earth.
7. ObedienceObedience is surrendering to God's will, trusting that His plans are better than our own. For Kingdom-minded leaders, it means following God's direction in both personal and professional decisions — even when it's difficult or counterintuitive. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." Obedience aligns us with God's purposes and paves the way for providence.
8. PurposePurpose gives meaning to our work and aligns it with God's greater plan. Kingdom-minded leaders understand that their business exists for more than profit — it's to be used to fulfill a higher calling. As Proverbs 19:21 says, "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." Embracing God's purpose transforms your work into a mission field that impacts employees, customers, and the community.
9. RelationshipsRelationships are God's design for Mankind. He created us for community, so leaders must intentionally build meaningful connections with employees, customers, and the community. When leaders invest in relationships, they foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and care that honors God.
10. TeamworkTeamwork is a foundational principle of Kingdom-minded leadership. God designed us to work together in community, with each person contributing their unique gifts for the greater good. As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12:12, "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ." Teamwork in business reflects the unity and collaboration God desires for His people.
11. TransparencyTransparency is essential for building trust and accountability in any organization. Kingdom-minded leaders understand that openness and honesty reflect God's character and cultivate a culture of integrity. Transparency reduces misunderstandings, builds stronger relationships, and strengthens the entire business.
12. ValuesValues are the guiding principles that shape a leader's decisions, behavior, and organizational culture. Kingdom-minded leaders prioritize biblical values. When leaders align their business with godly values, they create an environment where both people and profits thrive under God's providence.
